Ans. MOOC stands for the Mass Open Online Courses. It is basically an academic or an industrial education (lecture + questionnaires + examination) which teaches something knowledgeable from pre-recorded videos. It is very similar to the packages of higher education around the world but available in digital, discrete and HD format.

Q2 ) Does the MOOC contain lectures, quizzes, questionnaires, examination and grading system ?
Ans. Yes, it has all the elements of traditional education.

Q3 ) Does the MOOC equally regarded as traditional universities education ? ?
Ans.Yes, of course it is. The fascinating point is that it has 'reverse/forward/pause' button from which the learners may 'start/stop/resume' the lectures as he/she likes.

Q4 ) Does the MOOC accredited in all countries ?
Ans. MOOC requires no accreditation but acceptance for the credit transfer because it is in modular basis.

Ans. The MOOC providing universities have clear vision for clusters/packages and we never once deny it. Meanwhile when the local government's policies for accreditation is concerned, then it varies from one nation to another. This anomalies occur due to the dissimilar policies of national interest as compared to international policies. So Advan-kt accepts the MOOC as discrete modules and issue credit transfer for corresponding programs with our consortium universities.

General Information About Doctoral Studies

Q1 ) Does the 'doctoral degree' programs of Advan-kt carry 'Dr' title internationally ?
Ans. Yes. It carries the 'Dr' title to the person who have successfully completed the doctoral program. Some of our doctoral graduates are listed here.

Q2 ) Does the Advan-kt's partner institutions legally registered to confer doctoral awards?
Ans. Yes. All our partner institutions are legally registered as universities/colleges/academic institutions with one of the world's government to confer educational certificates from ordinary certificate to doctoral level degrees. So far, Advan-kt has served for 5 Universities and all of them are legally registered with their countries government. For an instance: the IIC University of Cambodia was registered in Cambodia and accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of Kingdom of Cambodia. This registration and accreditation may vary from one country to another as every country has its own criteria for. However, it does not affect the 'Dr' title and a doctoral thesis is significantly regarded from its contents (publications) for which it creates impact on the corresponding fields. Q3 ) What about the accreditation part of doctoral awards?
Ans. There is no single accrediting body for the international standards on doctoral studies. Besides, there are hundreds and hundreds of accrediting bodies have existed like mushroom in this world with dissimilar criteria. In another words, the accreditation varies from one country to another and it completely depends on local governments. Private sectors are completely different and always expect originality and productivity. Discrimination on education and employment is illegal and obviously opposed by Human Rights Commission but who can ensure a world without it ? Q4 ) What is degree attestation used for ?
Ans. Attestation of any document including educational degree certificate signifies that it is the copy of original document. We do provide it for all our certificate holders upon the request. As to cater this service promptly, it requires additional amount for. Our degree certifications will be attested in the jurisdiction of country where the university is established of.

Q5 ) Does the Advan-kt discriminate anybody in doctoral studies?
Ans. No. Advan-kt allows all our students to record the PhD Viva Voce Examination for their own reference. If the outcome of any examination is deemed to be 'injustice and prejudice' by student, then the recorded video will be supplied to the university dean for evaluation.

Q6 ) What is the fee that set for doctoral program?
Ans. In 2018, we have set USD 3650* for complete package, as to cover the guidance of thesis writing, the guidance of journal paper publishing, as to conduct the PhD Viva Voce Examination by employing two Examiners; as to deliver the doctoral degree certificates to the candidate's residency ; and as to maintain the database for 20 years in online system (Database). However we do provide dean's scholarship for good thesis contents.

*every publication that published in the ISI-cited journal will reimburse automatically USD 300 meanwhile Scopus-cited journal will reimburse about USD 200 from the total fee.

Industrial Doctorate - Section

Q1 ) What does theIndustrial Doctorate (Indus-PhD) stand for?
Ans. Industrial-PhD is a doctoral level award in which a complex case study with solution or industrial rare practices with complexity or industrial innovations and/or industrial inventions are converted into academic documents (thesis/dissertation).

Q2 ) What is the use of Industrial-PhD?
Ans. Industrial-PhD contains solution for real world problems and is highly regarded in technological world. It has perpetual mean of solution for existing problems. Thesis from this type of program does not contain theoretical assumption but a valuable practical mean.
